8:28pm EST - SITE PROBLEMS UPDATE PLAN and DRAGONBALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI RELEASE - GokusandGohans......
Well, I have a plan to fix the mugen game and I have decided to use yahoo briefcase. I will have a system setup soon for that. I currently working on that, College, and Work so my time is divided. In other news, Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi was released this Tuesday. I played it for about an hour (like i said my free time is like non existent) and the game is so realistic to the DBZ world. I'm going to quote the game box because it correctly describes the experience.

"EVERYTHING ELSE WAS JUST TRAINNING"

Yup every other dbz game you have played was just trainning. The game is that realistic. Battle in the air, land, or even under water. Everything can be destroyed and the maps are so big that your opponents look like dots. I know what you are think, if it's that big then you will not be able to find your opponent. That's the beauty of it. Depending on who you are, you can find them. Some characters can sense opponents by feeling for KI energy, some characters can sense opponents by using scouters, and Some characters can sense opponents by...um.....looking around. (Let's face it, not all of the fighters can detect other people, for example Hercule. He is a fighter, but he has no scouter and he can't sense KI so he actually has to look around.) Don't worry, for the most part its easy. Plus, no matter which one you choose, you will not always be able to sense someone. Ki sensing characters have to be in a somewhat close distance...you know not on the other side of the board......the far you are, the less you can sense them and the closer you are, the more you can sense them. Scouter characters work different. No matter where you are, you can sense other people. However, if you take damage you run the risk if your scouter taking damage too. The more damage it takes, the less it works. You can even have it destroyed. Non-sensing characters have no hope....well you can do a manual search. However, If you do a Z search, you can spot him on the other side easy.....remember Z fighters have really good vision. He or her just has to be in view. Z searching works for all characters. So that's the good part.

The bad is um..........let me think. .... ..... ..... .... ..... I got it! There is no bad part except the controls. If you are counting on the old controller layout.....forget about it. And that means you can forget about play Budokai 3 to prepare for this game. The controls are that different. It's not just that the buttons are in different places, they are different commands. For example, no more punch and kick...just attack. No more changing the buttons so you can transform with one button. You can change the controls, but there are no combos buttons. BUT DON'T LET THAT GET TO YOU!!!! The controls are easy to pick up, just like the first time you played Budokai 1. Once you get over that, there are no more problems.

BUT THEN AGAIN........I remind you that i only played for one hour. Well anyway, enough of this, It's not like i'm trying to review the game. It's worth buying so you judge for youself.

2:34am EST - SITE PROBLEMS UPDATE PLAN - GokusandGohans......Well, I have a lot of work to do. So I made a list.
1. Back-Up & Save Site
2. Fix Game Emulators
3. Fix Game Downloads
4. Fix MUGEN Game Download links
5. Fix Movie Clip Links
6. Fix Pictures Links

So far, I have backed up my site incase anything else happens. Next, I will be fixing the game pages starting with the emulators then the games. The games will probably be down for a while due to AngelFire thinking that the EXE files are too dangerous to download due to risk of viruses. I'll find a way to fix it, but I have to find a storage site...might have to pay for one. Bye for now, I'll keep you updated

11:30pm EST - DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENCHIKAI GAME COVER AND SITE PROBLEMS UPDATE - GokusandGohans......first thing first. Here is the official game cover for PS2's Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenchikai. Sorry i wish i had a bigger pic.

Next thing the site problems. It's been brought to me attention that some or a lot of the download links are not working. Well, One reason is that one my website were deleted.....not sure how. The other problem is that Angelfire will not allow visitors to download certain files due to the risk of viruses....mostly exe files. AHHHH!!!!! So now i have to find new website or a new host......maybe a storage host. I think i will use Yahoo. AHHHH!!! THIS IS THE EXACT REASON....sorry.....This is the exact reason why it is always a good thing to download your site to your PC just incase something like this happens. Well just so you know the games, part of the pictures and movies are down. It will take a while but the mugen game should be up soon. Bye for now, I'll keep you updated.

11:55am EST - DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENCHIKAI UPDATE AND VIDEO INTERVIEW AND FOURTH OF JULY - GokusandGohans...... Hey peoples! I just got some new information of Budokai Tenchikai. This is confirmed information so i will put it into categories.

Cast Character: As we all should know by now is that Tenkaichi has a greatly expanded cast of characters when compared to previous games. They are not saying too much but what we know it that we're told that the roster will include 60 characters, including relatively recent additions to the DBZ universe, such as Janemba, and old favorites that haven't seen the Budokai treatment yet, like the diminutive Chaiotzu.

Character Graphics: "Graphically, the game is similar to Budokai 3 but with a bit more of a realistic look to it." The characters themselves are faithful to their television counterparts, but the game's new developers, Spike, has backed off the full cel-shading in Budokai 3, with the result that the character models are sharper around the edges and are more defined in appearance. Will that in mind, they introduce battle damage. Now what do we mean by battle damage? This: Character models will now be modified during fights as each character takes damage. For instance, Goku started the fight with a relatively clean uniform, but at the end of the fight (in which he barely managed to defeat Buu), he was noticeably bruised up, and his outfit had numerous tears and scrapes in it.

Background Graphics: One of the big changes is in the appearance of the stages themselves. They're actually bigger than in Budokai 3 and incorporate new breakable objects. According to a very reliable source, "In the canyon stage we saw, there were a number of rock pillars scattered around the center of the area; these are fully breakable and result in extra damage--and some impressive explosions--when you happen to throw your opponent through them. In another interesting twist, some of these breakable objects will reportedly have power-ups hidden inside them, allowing you to grab extra health or energy during the course of a match."

Story Lines and Board: Well I haven't heard pf a new storey board and we all know how each game's story board is completely different, for better or for worse. But this is a good sign....they are staying with Budokai 3's Dragon Universe.....but with a few changes. One change is that fans of Budokai 3's Dragon Universe mode will be pleased to hear that Spike has apparently expanded the story portion of the game. According to a very reliable source, "Although we didn't get to witness this aspect of the game for ourselves, we're told that Tenkaichi will incorporate more saga storylines, which should add up to an adventure that's roughly 50 percent longer than that of the previous game."

That's it for now. I will keep you all updated.

And as for the interview, press play!.......ummm I hope you got a high speed connection cuz it doesn't show good without one.....also if it goes to slow for you just open up windows media player, go to the "File" menu then go to "Open URL" and type or copy this link in: Http://www.gamespot.com/live/stream_asx.html?speed=56&path=dbztenkai_di_0506.asx&playall=&letsgs=&push=&prestream=gsad_arnette_brother_052605&first

Enjoy and HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10:10pm EST - DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENCHIKAI AND SCREENSHOTS - GokusandGohans...... Sorry for the long wait, but now it's here. I've been wanting to put this game up since May but........anyways. Let's start.

"This is what it's all been building up to...." DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENCHIKAI is the next installment of the Dragon Ball Z Budokai franchise. What can i say about this game? We all know what to expect so I will tell you what's new.

Imagine this: "Budokai switches from long time developer Dimps to Spike (Fire Pro Wrestling). This in turn led to a completely new behind-the-back point of view which given its odd orientation for a fighting game. This view also forces multiplayer games to be played out in New vertical splitscreen. "While it may sound awkward, just think of it like you're playing a multiplayer mech game, only with Dragon Ball characters.

What else is new.....This is the first DBZ game to feature free-roaming 3D flying at any time. Yes, that's right no longer do you have to knock someone or be knocked by someone into the air to fly. Makes you wonder what took so long...lol.

What also is new....better enhanced graphics. According to a very good and reliable source, the graphics really stood out, specially the Goku model. "There's this glow around it that makes it look unlike anything we've seen before; so real, we could almost grab it out of the screen."

"Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenchikai takes huge strides forwards to try to not only become a true Dragon Ball game in terms of gameplay and presentation, but also a solid fighting game in general." The scheduled release date is set for 11/15/2005 but may subjected to change.

Here are some screenshots of the game. I will post more later. They are great screenshots but these really, really don't do it justice. Enjoy!

7:20pm EST - DRAGONBALL Z: SAGAS IS RELEASED AND DRAGONBALL Z MOVIE 10: BROLY: The SECOND COMING IS BEING RELEASED SOON AND PREVIEW - GokusandGohans......Hey everyone. How are yall doing? Dragonball Z: Sagas was released on the 23rd. It is so sweeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!! I definitely recommend this game if you are a fan of action-adventure games and/or dbz games. It's just that good!!! This game is the very first of its kind for the dragonball franchise. Don't get me wrong, it's a game about fighting but it's not a fighting game. Don't worry, you WILL LOVE IT.

One of my favorite movies is coming out on DVD. Not that I haven't seen it but I'd like to see it again anyway. If you are into japanese imports then maybe you have seen it too. This will be the first time it is released in North America or just the USA. :) Any way, If you thought Broly The Legendary Super Saiyan was good then you will love this. 7 years have passed and evil still remains and now the most powerful being in the universe wants revenge and If the legendary super saiyan can't find Goku, he will get the very next thing........his family. Dragonball Z Movie 10: The Return Of Broly or as FUNimation wants to call it Broly: The Second Coming is coming to DVD April 2, 2005. Legends never die...they just gets very very pissed. :)

And as for a preview, press play!.......ummm I hope you got a high speed connection cuz it doesn't show good without one.....also if it goes to slow for you just open up windows media player, go to the "File" menu then go to "Open URL" and type or copy this link in: http://media.funimation.com/trailers/DBZ/DBZ_Broly_2nd_Large.asx

5:20am EST - REALLY REALLY LONG TIME NO SEE -----NEW DRAGONBALL Z: SAGAS VIDEO CLIPS - GokusandGohans..... Sorry everyone I almost forget about my site. 12:00am EST - LONG TIME NO SEE -----NEW DRAGONBALL Z: SAGAS NEWS, SCREENSHOTS, & VIDEO CLIP - GokusandGohans..... Sorry everyone but It was christmas time and "in all of the rush, i was missing so much. Now I can finally see"...that it's time for an update. So let's start.

There a new game on the way and It's called DragonBall Z: Sagas. Now picture the graphics of budokai, but way better. A more realistic look. Now picture the gameplay of True Crimes, Quake, Unreal tournament, or GTA...just DBZ style. The graphics of the characters and the environment look so good that it looks like a real DBZ fan made it. The graphics kinda remind me of Bid For Power...if anyone knows what i mean. If not, all well. It's an action-adventure title with RPG elements that spans the storylines from the Saiyan Saga through the Cell Games Saga. For the first time, players will now control characters from the DragonBall universe in a sort of free-form, destructible sandbox. Instead of confining players to one-on-one encounters, as in the Budokai series, Sagas turns you loose in a collection of different stages. While each of these stages (or chapters, really) carries with it clearly defined mission objectives, the game lets you explore the game environments and kick ass at will. In other words, picture roaming around fighting bad guys. Not 1-on-1 but in true DBZ style, 5 or 10 on 1 with you being the 1. Now picture budokai but with a 2 player mode. Yes, a 2 players mode where two gamers can play through the main story mode. Now picture that two players can create combos. One player can launch an enemy into the air, for example, while the other player slams him back into the ground. I'll give you more on the game later but for now here are some screenshots and a movie on thegame. enjoys!

I have some screenshots. I will post more later. Click on the pic to enlarge it! Enjoy!

And as for a preview, press play!.......ummm I hope you got a high speed connection cuz it doesn't show good without one.....also if it goes to slow for you just open up windows media player, go to the "File" menu then go to "Open URL" and type or copy this link in: Http://streamingmovies.ign.com/cube/article/579/579547/sagas_011304_2_wmvlow.wmv

7:50pm EST - NEW & LAST DBZ BUDOKAI 3 NEWS(NEWS ON ME) - GokusandGohans.....Well, I brought Halo 2. So That means this will be my last post for probably this year.....just kidding...umm...probably this month though. When I purchased Halo 2 I was told that could I pre-order Budokai 3. Like I said, I had no money, but, well, DBZ brings the best and worst out of me. I told him I'd like to pre-order it. Then he told me something wonderful (Well, not for me but for you...Like I siad I have no money). He told me that there were 2 versions of the game. The original and the collector's edition. So I had to pre-order the Collector's Edition. Hopefully I will have some money by tuesday. OMG!!!! That's tomorrow!!!!!!! THE LIFE I LIVE IS SAD!. (Sighs) Well, goodbye for now.

7:45pm EST - SITE FANFICTION - GokusandGohans..... I am rewriting the Fanfiction "DragonBall EX." The one reason is because I was a freshman in high school when I wrote it so I kinda sped-wrote it. The main reason is that I left some of the most important points of the story out (I sped-wrote it and forgot to include some stuff). I am in no way adding extra stuff to it cuz I want it to be true to what I originally wrote. If you want to read the original copy of it, it is still up in the Fan Fiction section. I'll keep you posted for when I finish writing the revised edition and post it.

7:02am EST - DBZ BUDOKAI 3 UPDATE AND NEWS ON FUTURE DBZ AND DBGT GAMES - GokusandGohans.....It's official! DBGT will be in Budokai 3. Now how much DBGT, I don't know yet. I saw an internet flyer banner and decided to post it. I'm not sure of the date it says cuz my local GameStop store said it comes out on the 16th.

Unfortunately for me, Halo 2 the Collector's Edition comes out that same day. Stupidy, I pre-ordered it and not Budokai 3. Let's face it. If you don't order Halo 2, you're not going to get it.....plain and simple. On top of that WWE: Smackdown vs. Raw came out this week. I didn't get it...(I would of got Budokai 3 first). Looks like I will have to wait to get Budokai 3.

Anyways, I also have some news about NEW DBZ and DBGT Games....FOR ALL CONSOLES....except PC....but YOu have me for that....just go to the game section for DB/Z/GT Games - PC style.

as for the NEWS part....I don't want to give it away but just picture a game like Budokai 3 with a 2 player story mode...

Ok, I can't hold it any longer....Here's is the NEWS and I quote:

On the eve of the highly anticipated Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 launch for the PlayStation2, Atari has announced the future of Atari published Dragon Ball games for the North American market. Updates!!.......um.......umm.......Sorry, we're fresh out of that....all we have is untimely death.......just kidding. Sorry, we have no new DB/Z/GT news. Well, we are on the last saga of DBGT, the Evil Shenron Saga. So we can pretty much expect a drought in DB/Z/GT news unless it's video or game wise. oh yeah. Yesterday I stumbled across a movie that I have been looking for for 2 years....DBGT Movie Special: Goku Jr. I've had parts and clips of the movie but never the whole movie....until now. If you know or don't know, I am a collector of DB/Z/GT movies. I have ever single DBZ movie ever made. Even the lost ones. Now I have a DBGT movie. If you want to know how I got it email me at gokusandgohans@dbzmail.com. Well, like I said, I just got this movie so I'm going to watch it. Until later bye.

12:09pm EST - UPDATE AND ME THINKING ABOUT THE FUTURE - GokusandGohans....Damn! Has it been that long!!! I remember when I would have new news and info at least three times a day on a regular basics. I guess everything went down hill after DBZ ended. Well, we have DBGT now. After that, it's all over. DBGT only has three sagas!!! We are on the second one. And that ends in two more episodes....unless FUNimation does what it's famous for.....cutting out scenes, making the episode shorter. Than we have one more saga. It's kinda long and it will be the best since it's the absolute last saga for Goku and the gang. After that, It's all over. Only reruns will air till it is cut off the air like DB and DBZ. But like Goku said, There is "light in the darkness!" We are on movie 9. And any true DB/Z/GT fan knows that there are 14 DBZ movies and 1 lost DBZ movie. And that ONLY DBZ movies. We got 1 to 3 DB movies and I think 1 DBGT movie. So all isn't lost just yet. Movie 9 is going to be great. It's one of my Personal Favorites......And If you see it you will know why. So what's movie 9 about....I'll tell you more in a sec.

It's called Dragonball Z for a reason! Think hard! I figured it out and have proof. Well, yes the sagas are done.......but the movies aren't. That right Z: BUDOKAI 3 will figure your favorite villians and heroes fro mthe DBZ movies. There are 13 movies in all but which ones made the cut. Well, here's what we know! So far I like it and I know my bro does! So for a release date....some time in November.

8:34am EST - LIVE-ACTION DBZ MOVIE COMEBACK UNCONFIRMED - GokusandGohans....Screenwriter Ben Ramsey ("The Big Hit") has signed to adapt Dragonball Z for the big screen for 20th Century Fox, reports Variety. Dragonball Z was adapted from the "Dragonball" manga created by Akira Toriyama and later developed into a Japanese anime series.

"Dragonball Z" follows the adventures of an adult humanoid alien who's just discovered that he was sent to Earth to blend in and destroy our population but instead elects to protect it from an oncoming alien onslaught.

Ramsey recently wrote the adaptation of Marvel's Luke Cage at Sony's Columbia Pictures, as well as Static for Columbia-based producer Neal Moritz.

8:24am EST - LIVE-ACTION DBZ MOVIE OPINIONS - GokusandGohans....I've been reading fan opinions about the DBZ live-action movie that is coming out. Lots of views from fans on the movie. Some say the movie will be great with some good actors, others say it will be great only if they use some unknown actors. Some say it will be great no matter what. Others say that it will suck purely because the movie is an American movie....They say it will look just like the terrible Street Fighters movie (which I kinda like). Others say the directors makes the difference between a good movie and a sucky one.....is sucky a word? Now I want to know what you think about the movie! Send your opinions to me at gokusandgohans@dbzmail.com, gokusandgohans@dbzmail.com, or just post on the site message board. I want to know what you think. I might even post it up on the site so be sure to include you first name, state, and country. Any extra info like your city and email is not required but you give me it if you want. For privacy, i will not be posting emails. I might post cities. I can't wait to hear from you!!!!

8:09am EST - NOW HIRING AT WEBRING - GokusandGohans....The Webring and Webring Forum seem to be two separate jobs and with the replacing of files and info on my website thanks to Angelfire reducing 50mb to 20mb with no notice, I just don't have time to do both the Webring and Webring Forum. I was thinking that I could hiring someone to manage and maintain the webring forum. If you want or would like this job, email me by Clicking Here or Clicking Here. 6:55pm EST - DBZ Live Action Movie News Update - GokusandGohans.....The following has been reported on www.kylehebert.com:

ILM ON DBZ LIVE ACTION MOVIE by Otherworld Steve

I decided to follow up a bit more regarding the rumored live action Dragon Ball/Z movie. One persistent rumor has been that "George Lucas' CGI company ILM has signed a contract to do the special effects."

Today I called Ellen Pasternack, Public Relations for ILM. I asked her if the rumor was true; if ILM was brought on board to provide the special effects for the Dragon Ball/Z live action movie. Ms. Pasternack's reply was that it had been mentioned, but ILM never officially signed off on anything and it never came to be. She also commented that, as far as she knows, the film is not being made.

So there you have it, folks. Another death nail in the DBZ live action movie coffin. That isn't to say that the film will never be made. There are other major studios besides FOX and other effects houses aside from ILM. Who knows ... maybe Wetta will snag this property to go along with the Evangelion live action movie. Only time will tell.

Edit: I just want to clarify that a.) FUNimation Productions has absolutely nothing to do with the concept/licensing for a Dragon Ball/Z live action movie. They hold the license for the anime/games/merchandise only, and b.) this website is NOT an official FUNimation website. It is just a promotional website for Kyle Hebert and goes beyond his association with FUNimation. I hope that clears some things up.

NO LIFE IN THE "DRAGONBALL" LIVE ACTION MOVIE? by Otherworld Steve

I literally JUST got off the phone with FOX Studios in Los Angeles, CA. I asked outright about the upcoming live action Dragon Ball/Z movie.

This is exactly what I was told by my contact:

"The Dragon Ball Z movie? We don't have that. I 've got a lot of calls about that so I called around [the studio]. We won't be making that [movie]."

So there you have it, folks. That is the OFFICIAL story from FOX. I know some of you may be disappointed, but I also think it's a blessing.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now for my point of view.

I'm both sad and happy as heck that this movie is coming up. I love DB/Z/GT with all me heart and I wish this movie would come out. I don't care about the outcome I just want to see a movie. but we as American fuck up a lot of shit when it comes to making foreign films. The main problem is that we have people on the job who don't really know DBZ. OK, some know it, but no one really really KNOWS it. Heck, I call myself a Guru of DB/Z/GT, second to that of only Akira Toriyama, the original creator of Dragon Ball, himself and I can't think of a way to really make a good DBZ movie.I know the ppolt and actors, but what crew, special effects, film, and more do I use. One bad element can fudge up a movie. Especially an american-made foreign movie like DBZ. i mean use at Street Fighters. I liked the movie, but it sucks so bad at the box office that they didn't even think about a second one. I don't want that for DBZ. It deserves much better! So fair well, DBZ Movie........................unless some one else wants to pick up the pieces.

11:40pm EST - I got some lots of news - GokusandGohans.....

First, New Action firgures.
As you all might know by now, IF Labs, JAKKS Pacific, Irwin, and Bandai are coming out with a line of DragonBall GT Action Figures. Right now, my opinion is that JAKKS Pacific and IF Labs (in that order) are the best pick of the litter. Might have to shop around to find them. Especially since they will probably sale out.
Here are some sites for more info, pricing, and pics of them.
Http://www.store.yahoo.com/dragonballzcentral/oldragzirtoy.html

Second, New Controllers.
A Budokai 2 Arcade Stick Controller is coming out or is out already. It like pretty cool. Just like at the arcades. Price is around $29.99. Also, A PS2 and PS One SS Glow Controller is coming out. Let's see, how do I describe this....ok, here: Play Budokai 2 and watch as Goku's hair and Aura turn Super Saiyan Gold with lights that simulate his energetic transformation! Price is around $24.99. A DBZ controller for the Gameboy Advance SP is coming out or is out already. It attaches to the Gameboy Advance SP so it is cordless. It's just like a PS2 controller except it has fewer buttons. Price is around $9.99. Also, A regular DBZ Controller for Gamecube is coming out or is out already. Price is around $19.99. Might have to shop around to find them. Especially since they will probably sale out.

Third, New Consoles.
A DragonBall Z Taiketsu theme PS2, Gamecube, and Gameboy Advance SP are coming out or are out already. In other words, DBZ console skins. Price is around $4.99. Might have to shop around to find them. Especially since they will probably sale out.

Fourth, Fanfictions on the Site
I am rewriting the Fanfiction "DragonBall EX." The one reason is because I was a freshman in high school when I wrote it so I kinda sped-wrote it. The main reason is that I left some of the most important points of the story out (I sped-wrote it and forgot to include so stuff). I am in no way add extra stuff to it cuz I want it to be true to what I originally wrote. If you want to read the original copy of it, it is still up in the Fan Fiction section. I'll keep you posted for when I finish writing the revised edition and post it.
